Know Yourself, Find Your Path Program

EpicYou is committed to providing a safe, inclusive and respectful environment for all children and young people participating in the Know Yourself, Find Your Path program.

EpicYou recognises that all children have the right to feel safe, be heard and be treated with dignity and respect.

To support this commitment, EpicYou will:

  • Place the safety and wellbeing of children and young people at the centre of program delivery.
  • Deliver programs in partnership with schools and community organisations that maintain responsibility for student supervision, consent and child safety management during program delivery.
  • Ensure facilitators and representatives act professionally and appropriately at all times.
  • Not engage in private or unsupervised one-on-one communication with students outside approved program activities.
  • Respect the privacy and confidentiality of participant information in accordance with the EpicYou Privacy and Data Statement.
  • Provide a safe and inclusive environment free from discrimination, bullying, harassment or inappropriate behaviour.
  • Comply with relevant child safety legislation and organisational requirements, including the Child and Youth Safe Organisations Act 2023 (Tas) and Working with Vulnerable People requirements where applicable.
  • Encourage the reporting of concerns regarding child safety and respond appropriately in partnership with the relevant school or organisation.
